This panel session focuses on integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) to transform higher education teaching and learning. We will present empirical evidence, theoretical frameworks, and practical applications, demonstrating the potential of AI-enhanced IoT to innovate curriculum design, improve educational delivery, and enhance student engagement. The session will start with an overview of the importance of AI and IoT integration in higher education, followed by insights from four experts, each providing a 15-minute discussion on their expertise. These discussions will focus on real-world case studies, best practices, and practical strategies for implementing AI-enhanced IoT technologies in academic environments. A key presentation component will be a moderated discussion exploring the practical challenges and opportunities of deploying these technologies. This dialogue will highlight the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration and offer actionable strategies for overcoming common IT challenges and maximizing the potential of AI and IoT in achieving educational objectives. The panel session will end with an interactive Q&A, allowing participants to share experiences and discuss the future of AI and IoT in education.
