The Asian Conference on Education (ACE) is now in its eleventh year and is held annually. In 2018, ACE attracted 416 attendees representing 39 countries – a truly international event. This diversity serves as a wonderful comparative and contrastive resource.
The majority of ACE conference attendees are university faculty, with 52% holding an academic post. At 23% of the total registered delegates, postgraduate and doctoral students make up the next largest group of attendees. The remaining attendees come from the business sector (1%) and the public sector (12%), with 2% registered as "independent" and 10% registered as "other".
